PSILOCYBE TAMPANENSIS TRUFFLES: STEEPED IN HISTORY
The Tampanensis truffle, often known as the “philosopher’s stone,” is rather mysterious. It was discovered in Tampa, Florida, and has only been found in the wild once since, in Mississippi. The Tampanensis, like our Mokum truffle, is medium-strong and suitable for both new and expert users.
THE EFFECTS OF TAMPANENSIS TRUFFLES
These truffles are relatively potent, but the high has a strong visual component. As a result, they’re an excellent alternative for those looking for a “trippy” experience without completely losing contact with reality. However, these truffles will also have a significant impact on thoughts, sounds, and experiences. In fact, as the codename “philospher’s stones” implies, your thoughts can become rather deep and intense on these. If this happens, go with it and see what you can discover.
TAMPANENSIS TRUFFLES: STRENGTH, DOSAGE, AND USE
Given their strength, most people will require a low dose of about 4 or 5 grams. At this moment, anticipate to feel “high” but with no distinguishing qualities. As you approach 10 grams, you are more likely to experience visual distortion and hallucinogenic effects. For many, this will be a pleasant high, somewhere between exhilarating and bearable. A whole pack (15 grams) will provide a strong psychedelic experience and should be approached with caution.
You can consume them either fresh or in the form of tea. Making tea will taste better and prevent the worst of the sickness. If you choose tea, avoid boiling the truffles because this will destroy the psilocybin.
TAMPANENSIS TRUFFLES STORAGE
Our magic truffles are delivered fresh and can be kept unopened in the fridge for up to two months. However, they must be used within two days of opening. Alternatively, you can dry them and keep them forever.
WARNING!
Magic truffles contain the potent hallucinogens psilocybin and psilocin. Taking hallucinogens responsibly is critical; read our advice on how to trip safely. Make sure you’re in a safe location and have a sober member of your group, or “trip sitter,” who will keep you grounded.
